Abies pinsapo is evergreen tree growing to 20–30 m tall, with a conic crown, sometimes becoming irregular with age. The leaves are 1.5–2 cm long, arranged radially all round the shoots, and are strongly glaucous pale blue-green, with broad bands of whitish wax on both sides. The cones are cylindrical, 9–18 cm long, greenish-pink to purple before maturity, and smooth with the bract scales short and not exserted. When mature, they disintegrate to release the winged seeds.

 Abies pinsapo is a species of fir native to southern spain and northern morocco. Related to other species of mediterranean firs, is considered the Andalusian National Tree, native of the Andalusian mountains. In Spain, it appears at altitudes of 900–1,700 metres (3,000–5,600 ft) in the Sierra de Grazalema in the province of Cádiz and the Sierra Nevada and Sierra Bermeja, both near Ronda in the province of Málaga. In Morocco, it is limited to the Rif Mountains at altitudes of 1,400–2,100 metres (4,600–6,900 ft) on Jebel Tissouka and Jebel tazouka.

El pinsapo es una especie de abeto perteneciente a la familia PINACEAE y de distribución restringida a sierras mediterráneas del sur de la península ibérica y el rift.
El pinsapo mide de 20 a 30 metros de altura. De porte elegante que, en algunos ejemplares viejos se torna retorcido o divido en varios brazos.Se caracteriza por una corteza oscura fina,gris claro, con grietas oscuras de poca profundidad. Hojas gruesas, de sección subcuadrangular, de color verde oscuro y con bandas estomáticas blancas apreciables en amabas caras. Tiene piñas y piñones.

CHESS BOXING.

El chess boxing o ajedrez boxeo, es un deporte híbrido que combina el ajedrez y el boxeo. El concepto de este deporte había sido imaginado en 1992 por el dibujante de cómics Enki Bilal. Fue Iepe Rubingh quien llevó el concepto a la práctica en la primavera del 2003.

Un encuentro entre 2 oponentes consiste en 11 rounds por los cuales se van alternando el boxeo y el ajedrez, empezando con 4 minutos de partida de ajedrez y seguido por 3 minutos de boxeo. Entre cada round hay una pausa de un minuto, durante las cuales los competidores cambian su vestimenta. La modalidad de ajedrez es la blitz, en las cuales los competidores disponen un total de 12 minutos. Los competidores pueden ganar por nocaut, jaque mate o una decisión tomada por los jueces cuando los 12 minutos de un oponente se han terminado.

Chess boxing is a hybrid sport that combines chess with boxing in alternating rounds. The sport was seen for the first time at a boxing club in South London,  after being conceived by siblings James and Stewart Robinson, both keen amateur boxers and club chessplayers. Their original chessboxing club lasted for four years and its members witnessed the release of the influential 1979 Hong Kong martial arts film, "The Mystery Of Chessboxing" ("Shuang ma lian huan" original English title "Ninja Checkmate" )
An image of two boxers at a chessboard was made in the late seventies at a boxing club in South London. In 1979, the Hong Kong martial arts film Mystery Of Chessboxing was released. There is no published link between the worldwide chessboxing movement and these two sources from the seventies, although a popular track by the Wu-Tang Clan from their Enter the Wu-Tang (36Chambers) shares its name with the Hong Kong film, and brought widespread popularity to the concept.
